Role - Interim Operations Manager Retail Cleaning
Location - Must be available to go to Australia for January start
Duration - To 6 months initial term, possible extension
Rate - c. £600 per day
Job purpose
To improve the Australia divisional business with specific accountability for enhancing the service on large National Retail Cleaning accounts with emphasis on profit margin, improvement and development of a proactive culture.
To actively lead and encourage the achievement of specified objectives in accordance with established standards, policies and procedures.
Responsibilities

Manage cleaning operational activity, build customer relationships whilst maintaining the highest standards of integrity and customer support

Ensure that the budget is adhered to, savings targets are driven and all levels of expenditure are within agreed parameters

Work closely with the Commercial and Finance Managers ensure that cost data is current, benchmarks are in place and efficiency drives enhance the P&L performance

Support, lead and motivate the key managers within the portfolio

Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with all statutory requirements and corporate policies including, but not limited to, Health and Safety, Quality Assurance, and Employment Legislation
Knowledge skills & experience
-
Extensive experience in Cleaning operations management

Demonstrative experience of client liaison and negotiation

Strong operational, management and commercial skills are essential

Experience in financial forecasting, budgeting and analysis is required

Strong sense of urgency and desire to succeed
