Salary: To £90,000 Basic plus Car, Pension, Bonus benefits
Our client is a growing private equity backed SME industrial engineering services company. The Board recognise there is good potential to grow and increase profits, hence increasing Enterprise value.
The position is a key part of the senior management team responsible for increasing profits, improving the team, systems, MI and processes. We would consider both dynamic capable senior Finance Managers looking to “make a name for themselves and gain recognition at a SMT level”, or a proven FD.
The Person
The suitable candidate will be a qualified accountant with excellent commercial and contractual ability and ideally have held a FD or equivalent position in a substantial business. It is essential to be determined and resilient, able to drive change as part of an Executive Team. Ideally you will have an industrial services or contracting sector background and understand product/ material supply and contractual management.
Main Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible as a company Director for increasing profit and enterprise value

Leading the finance function and oversee all internal reporting and accounting.

Implement better data, systems, MI and process improvements.

Oversee and negotiate key supplier contracts, improved terms and mitigate risks

Manage a small finance team including objective setting, outputs and appraisals

Oversee payroll, cash, Bank relationships, insurances and terms.

Liaise with tax accountants and prepare the company tax return with supporting documentation.

Oversee the company pension scheme, company life insurance scheme, private health scheme and any other benefits that might arise.
