Commercial Operations Director
North London Based
To £75,000 Basic plus Car, Pension, Bonus benefits
Our client is a specialist manufacturing company, part of a larger Group. They need a highly commercial Operations Director with a rounded skills set to oversee operational management of the manufacturing site, negotiate supplier contracts to reduce costs, improve supplier terms and rebates while also managing the day to day finance function.
Suitable candidates will ideally be a qualified accountant with excellent Operational, commercial and contractual ability. Ideally with a manufacturing background and understand product/ material supply and contract management. You will be a good people manager able to delegate and lead teams.
Main Duties and Responsibilities

Part of the senior management team responsible for efficiencies, cost reduction and profits

Negotiate key material supplier contracts, improved terms and mitigate business supply risks

Lead the finance function and oversee accurate reporting and accounting.

Financial analysis on customer accounts, sales, margins and reporting

Implement better data, systems and Management information.

Drive structural and organisational change projects

Manage a small finance team including objective setting, outputs and appraisals
