Role – Commercial Manager
Location – Based North London
Salary - £70,000 to £80,000 plus benefits package
Our client is a major provider of energy and Utility focused contracted services across multi-disciplined Utility environments. With a turnover of several hundred million, they provide design, installation, and commissioning and long term maintenance of assets.
We are looking for an energetic, qualified and experienced Commercial Manager with a background in high volume transactional repair and maintenance contracting works, ideally in the Utilities contracting sector, construction or engineering facilities.
Working from a base in North London, the commercial manager will improve commercial standards and lead on commercial activities.
Key Responsibilities –

Cost control, reporting, contracts, CVR’s
-
Resolving contractual and commercial problems
-
Managing Risk and assessing contracts and business opportunities for profit contribution

Ensuring all stakeholders understand and adhere to contractual obligations

Ensuring that the financial aspects and impact of a contract are clear to all parties
-
Undertake financial forecasting in line with business requirements
Requirements –
-
Held a Commercial Management role in a significant Contracting business
-
QS qualified
-
Able to fulfil a bigger position in future and seeking career progression

Ideally a background in Utilities Contracting / Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

Detail-oriented and proactive
-
Good communication skills to report on status and progress

Good at planning, establishes priorities and meets goals
