Job Description

Company:

Our client is a global EPC company operating in the Power Generation industry of all types including Nuclear, Renewable and Conventional fuels with multiple licences around the globe.

Position:

Reporting to the Managing Director the Project Directors primary role is to define, develop and lead a project or a major development programme within the company. At the conceptual and design stages you will ensure the project options/solutions being considered offer viable outcomes. At project sanction, you will become responsible for the execution, installation and delivery of the entire programme.

Reporting to: Managing Director

Requirements:

• Drive all Environment, Health & Safety standards through the project by example
• Development of project standards and procedures.
• Manage transition from early project phases into EPC.
• Develop execution strategy to complete project in required timeline and to stakeholder expectations.
• Manage execution of project including interfaces with all engineering departments/teams.
• Manage the project budget, planning schedule and any claims and other associated issues.
• Manage transition between project execution and production operations phases including project close-out.
• Ensure that the reporting requirements are met accurately and in a timely manner.
• Effective communication with Senior Management Team.

Experience:

• 20 years Power industry experience ideally extending over a range of diverse projects.
• Demonstrable, project/programme lead responsibility including for significant $250m+ work.
• Ability to mentor / coach other Project Managers.
• Lead a team of Project Managers to deliver a programme of works.
• Developed management and interpersonal skills with the capability to lead a cross functional team.
• Awareness and sensitivity to multinational exposures and cultures.
