Job Description

The Company:

A plc providing a complete range of outsource services from specialist project management, through to design, installation and building maintenance.

The Role:

• To provide professional leadership, support and advice to the business.
• Support the development of Management Systems, Technical Assurance and ensuring compliance in all areas.
• Improve KPI performance.
• Interact with and build relationships with key stakeholders both internal and external.
• Ensure customer requirements are met by managing standards and communicating the needs of the customer effectively within the organisation.
• Deliver World Class Service through the timely delivery of projects. A feature of this role will be involvement with tender opportunities to support the sales and bid team.
• Contribute and support the Engineering operational leadership to achieve a best in class. Develop and embed innovative working practices and improve efficiency.
• Improve awareness of risks and mitigation.
• Submit accurate reports.
• Contribute to and use the company’s risk framework.
• Develop trusting relationships with key stakeholders.

Technical Requirements:

• QA experience gained within outsource service industry.
• Experience of managing and leading a team.
• Experience of engineering delivery models and a blue chip client base.
• Qualified to degree level within Engineering, possibly also MSc.
• Six sigma (or other equivalent continuous improvement experience).
• Chartered status preferred.
• Demonstrable experience of ISO9001 and Business Continuity (BS25999).

• Motivated with a drive to succeed.
• Ability to work under pressure and lead as well as being part of a team.
• Establishes good working relationships with other stakeholders.
• At least 5 to 10 years working in a similar role and with equivalent seniority.
