Interim Global Head of Construction
6 Month Interim Assignment
Flexible Location - UK, US, Europe, Asia. Frequent Global travel required
The client is a fast moving and dynamic International organisation with a multi billion turnover. They own and operate sites in over 90 countries. This is an Interim assignment for around 6 months.
The Head of Global Construction must develop a construction, design and build platform for the Group and Franchisee’s to underpin rapid, global growth in line with the expansion plan by country, ensuring all brand guidelines are implemented during the new sites opening process.
Responsibilities
- Formulate and deliver the plan to accelerate site development growth.
- Deliver sites on time, on budget and of the right quality Internationally.
- The aspiration is to replicate a retail/ McDonalds model so all sites are standardised globally whilst allowing for any local regulatory differences.
- Set global standards and work in partnership with procurement to standardise the rollout process and reduce capex costs.
- Take ownership of the design and construction process to improve cycle times by utilising a lean/six sigma approach.
Person
- A truly capable, impressive Executive with substantial property and construction industry expertise
- Ideally experience of client side retail or large scale international outlet development expansion programmes
- Proven large scale programme management
- Strong international and multi cultural expertise
- Proven team leadership, commercial and P&L skills
- Strong network of contacts within the property industry to identify and partner with the right designers, contractors, advisers and suppliers.
- Develops strong partnerships and robustly manages suppliers to improve commercial performance.
- Experience of working with country teams to ensure best practice.
- Degree/ MBA qualified, high performing executive required.
