Role details

Our client is working on a project to transform transport, infrastructure and the development of new homes. In order to do this, they require a programme manager to project manage a range of activities.

Key Tasks

  • Assist in the essential programming of development sites and infrastructure requirements

  • Prepare bids and funding plans

  • Monitoring and reporting on progress, you’ll suggest ways in which we could improve and keep projects on track.

  • Team leadership

Experience and skills required

  • You will have a significant degree of experience in planning, transport and infrastructure in a local government role.

  • Are comfortable working with a variety of different levels and people, with the verbal and written communication skills to back this up.

  • Have a good knowledge of project management, including using software, with the ability to progress programmes of work and guide stakeholders.

  • Are professionally qualified (to degree-standard or the equivalent of level 6).

  • You will ideally have membership of a professional body, with an appropriate level of experience.
